Following the first concert of 100 guitars on a drunken boat in Villeurbanne, the Town Council of the 4th and 1st district of Lyon proposed to Gilles Laval to replay this creation.
It was the perfect occasion to regroup with the team again and bring everybody on the Esplanade du Gros Cailloux at La Croix-Rousse in Lyon.

The historical importance of this square of the city of Lyon overseeing the Alps and the Mont Blanc created an outstanding echo to the artistic creation of Gilles Laval.
Over 1,000 people experienced the concert on the esplanade on July 2, 2017. Once again this happening wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Les Ateliers Frappaz (Centre national des arts de la rue in Villeurbanne, France), Les Invites de Villeurbanne and the help of Emeraude Gomes, Giulia Gennaro, Patrice Papelard, les Ateliers Frappaz, Vera Geslin, Coco Picos, Manu Joule, Le Gogniol, Fab, le Bistro fait sa brocante, JP Bouchard… to name a few.
The concept of the 100 guitars is building up and we are proud to start pushing this creation around the world!
